Can you hear me?

To let you know where I'm coming from, I need to tell you where I've been

I started out as a US manufacturing engineer

with promise of building something great here

instead what I found was tear it all down

and send it offshore.

Think for a minute what kind of society we are

that we can't even clothe ourselves

something went wrong and I'm gonna show you precisely where

we started trampling on Abraham Lincoln’s vision.

(hint it was in the 80s and it was bipartisan)

My career evolved over the years from machinery and automation design into supply chain expertise.    I learned about the flow of goods and the financial transactions that result.   I ultimately became the data design expert of global supply systems for a couple of the largest healthcare companies in the world.   I designed the information models that ran the whole damn thing.  From end-to-mofo-end.   Supply chain.  I know how the trillions of dollars in goods move, transaction by transaction.   I designed it.

Why it’s important I tell you this is because I think in terms of the data that runs international trade.   I understand what is possible in the commercial transactions that impact trade at the Border.    I understand how profits are sheltered and taxes reduced.  I know well the structure and requirements for international trade, so when I speak of radically changing things in how the world works,  I speak from a place of knowledge and pragmatism.

Stay tuned, it's gonna get hot in here :)
